(SKU: LSZ2005051) If you’re Sri Lankan this treat needs no introduction. Halapa (හැලප) is made of Ragi Flour (Kurakkan Flour), grated coconuts mixed with honey or sugar. Halapa, goes as a snack with a cup of tea or a treat to keep your energy levels up. I’ve not met a Sri Lankan who’s said no to one of these and of course it’s a favorite of mine. Since this sweet treat uses Ragi flour which is low in GI and kithul treacle, this is great after a quick workout to boost your energy levels for the remainder of the day.
